Malena de las Carreras (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1998) is a fashion and textile designer specialized in Womenswear RTw. She graduated in Fashion Textile and Design at CENTRO University in Mexico City and continued her education at Institut Français de la Mode with the MSc in International Fashion & Luxury Management in Paris. She worked for six months as a fashion assistant at COLOÜRS, an advertising company.
She also worked part-time as a personal shopper at Nike Pop-Up Store and as a Design Intern at Téllez Atelier.
Her work approaches the sensorial relationship between human anatomy and nature through various artistic forms, such as photography, sketches and specially, fashion design. Her garments contain as much technical as conceptual backgrounds which converge into an iconic piece followed by a series of ready to wear clothes for its merchandizing.
